Island Inspired

Lanikai Brewing Company sought to overhaul their brand identity to better capture their mission and their Hawaiian roots. Lanikai is synonymous with images of the stunning beach and the iconic Mokulua Islands on the horizon. After exploring numerous concepts we landed on a mark featuring the Mokulua Islands, the gentle ocean, and an iconic bent palm tree. 

Scope: Logo System, Packaging System, Marketing Materials.

Beer Packaging

Our goal was to create a beautiful and recognizable packaging system that could easily be adapted when new beers enter the market. The solution - a hero illustration of the view from Lanikai Beach as an outrigger canoe heads toward the Mokulua Islands in an authentic woodcut style. With color changes and subtle differences to some backgrounds we have successfully created unique looks for over twenty beers and counting. Most importantly, customers are loving the new look!

Spirits Packaging

Similarly to the beers, our goal was to create a beautiful and recognizable packaging system that could easily be adapted when new spirits enter the market. We used the same hero image with a unique die-cut/shaped label to showcase the bottle. To emphasize the exclusive small batch nature of the spirits we left areas for the batch and bottle number to be handwritten, giving each bottle a personal touch.
